Privacy Policy
Version: V2.0
Effective date: July 14, 2026
Guangzhou Weijing Technology Co., Ltd. ("we", "us", or "our") operates MagicCharge App (the "App") and related services. We respect the privacy of our users and are committed to protecting personal information. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, share, and protect your personal information when you use the App and related services.
Please read this Privacy Policy carefully before using the App. By using a relevant App function, you acknowledge the provisions of this Privacy Policy relating to that function. For functions requiring system permissions or separate authorization, we will request your authorization through system prompts or as otherwise required by applicable law.
1. Personal Information We Collect and Use
We process personal information only to the extent necessary to provide App functions, maintain service security, process user requests, and comply with legal obligations. Depending on the functions you use, we may process the following information:
1.1 Account and Login Information
The App currently does not provide public registration. Accounts are created in advance and assigned to users by us, an enterprise administrator, or a fleet administrator. To provide login, authentication, and account security services, we may process an account identifier, security information for login credentials, the organization associated with the account, login times, login device information, and login logs.
1.2 Vehicle Information
If a vehicle has been entered or associated by a user, enterprise administrator, fleet administrator, or backend operator, we may process the vehicle make, series, model, license plate number, vehicle identification number (VIN), and the association between the vehicle and an account, enterprise, or fleet. We use this information for vehicle identification, vehicle association, charging compatibility configuration, vehicle management, and related service support.
1.3 Location Information
When you use nearby charging stations, map display, location viewing, or navigation, we may process your device's precise location, the time the location was obtained, and the location used for a map query after you grant the relevant permission. We use location information to find nearby charging stations, calculate distances, display maps, and request charging station data. To complete a station query, your current latitude and longitude may be transmitted to our server.
The App uses foreground location only and does not continuously obtain your location while the App is not in use. You may disable location permission in Android settings. If you do so, nearby charging stations, maps, navigation, and other location-dependent functions may not be available.
1.4 Device and Runtime Log Information
To keep the App operating normally, troubleshoot errors, and protect account and system security, we may process the device brand and model, Android version, App version, device language and time zone, network type, IP address, login and operation times, and necessary runtime logs. We do not collect or use this information for advertising.
1.5 Scanning Function
When you actively use the scanning function, we request camera permission to scan charging equipment or service QR codes. We do not access the camera when you are not actively using the scanning function, do not store or use unused camera footage for other purposes, and do not provide a photo upload function.
2. Functions We Do Not Provide
The App currently does not provide payment, wallet, recharge, automatic debit, membership subscription, in-app purchase, advertising, or push-notification services, and does not use Firebase. If any of these functions are added in the future, we will update this Privacy Policy before launching the function and provide notice and obtain authorization as required by applicable law.
